Swedish environmental classification of pharmaceuticals
On the initiative of The Swedish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry, LIF, Sweden has, as the first country in the world, introduced a voluntary system for environmental classification of pharmaceuticals. The environmental classification is present in the product information on Fass.se and is easily found by clicking the M-symbol located to the right of the product name. You can also search for pharmaceuticals which have environmental classification. Simply choose "Miljöinformation" in the search area (SÖK) located to the left. All the pharmaceuticals do not yet have environmental classification, but information is continuously added.
